wtorek, 4 lutego 02:58Munich Philharmonie, Munich, Germany. 'MĂźnchner Klaviersommer' was an annual concerts series that took place from 1981 to 1998 in Munich, Germany. Although the festival's name suggests a strong focus on piano music, it featured countless famous musicians from jazz and classical music â not just pianists. The concerts were usually held in July at The Gasteig, home of the Munich Philharmonic. In 1989, American pianist Armando Anthony "Chick" Corea was one of the artists appearing here. In this concert Corea returned to his roots, performing jazz standards and originals in a stripped-down trio setting of piano, bass and drums. With Dave Weckl (drums) and John Patitucci (bass), this highly interactive trio actually had its beginnings in 1985 with Chick Corea's Elektric Band.
